LINEAGE
Lineage matters! Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is a highly complex and technical martial art and sport. Understanding the details of each technique are extremely important. Jiu-Jitsu is very often compared to the game of chess and for good reason. Skill, strategy and technical ability far outweigh physical ability and aggression.
Gracie Humaitá in Brazil was the very first Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy in the world when it was established by Grandmaster Hélio Gracie. Since that time, the art and sport of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu has evolved and become incredibly popular throughout the United States and beyond.

Professor Juan Cardenas
Professor Juan Cardenas is the leader and head instructor of Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu. He is a black belt with an actual documented lineage, incredible commitment to his students, and an institution in both the local and jiu-jitsu communities.
Dr. Gustavo Cuellar
Dr. Gustavo is an Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and one of the original members of our academy. Over the years he has become a central figure to the academy and is an amazing instructor, practitioner and teammate!
FUNDAMENTAL JIU-JITSU SELF-DEFENSE COMPETITION FITNESS
Kids 1 (Ages 4-6)
Children may start training as early as four years old in our "Skills and Drills" class. This class is specifically designed for younger students who need to develop essential classroom skills that will benefit them in our more technical children's program as well as in their classroom at school.
